Mental Health Carers Mental Health services are the Cinderella of the health service. They are already woefully under funded and the latest round of cuts is too much for them to bear. Mental Health carers often care for young adults at a critical crisis in their lives and then for many years after that. The support we get from the mental health services needs to be updated. What Does Work To mount a successful campaign it's not enough to know what doesn't work, we also need to know what does, we need to be able to identify and build up a body of evidence to prove that good practice is a viable alternative to poor practice. If you've had a positive experience, if you're aware of services that work in your area or if you have suggestions to improve the experiences of carers this is the place to put them. |
